Where is the article about herbs...?.

We answer briefly

"Little and maybe Nothing".

There may be some articles about herbs that we post on this website, but they will not be as detailed as fruits, vegetables or others that grow directly from nature and can be consumed directly.

Why is that...?

Initially it was true that we wanted to post about some herbs. Take a look at our initial post about Ginger, Garlic and other herbs. However, with various considerations, we focus on fruits, vegetables, grains or tubers because these are all herbal sources.

What considerations...?

1. Herbs must be in certain doses.

The majority of herbs are plants that have gone through a drying or other process that must be used in certain doses. This dosage will probably have to be approved by a health professional.

2. Herbs easily interact with drugs.

There are many herbs that easily interact with drugs, perhaps due to the extraction or drying of fruit or tubers, the water content is lost and the content of certain substances becomes high and the content of other substances is reduced or lost so that certain medicines react easily or lose their benefits. and its function (Just Opinion).

3. Sufferers of special diseases are prohibited from consuming herbs carelessly.

Even though the majority of herbs are safe to consume, for us they are still herbs or plants that have gone through a little processing and must be approved by a medical expert to consume or use them. There are lots of articles about herbs, especially herbs with traditional processes and presentations and we are of course very careful in explaining them in the articles, especially the dosage or measurements.

As we reviewed on the About page, our articles come from the internet. Meanwhile, herbs that are processed and served in doses based on experience or traditionally without research from academics certainly cannot be used as a benchmark for whether the herbs are good or not, and may even be quite dangerous for someone with special health conditions.

Nutrition In Our Articles

Because this blog is about the benefits of plants for our body's health, of course the amount of nutrients must be included in our article, therefore we try to refer to trusted sources.

Our reference for listing nutrition refers to "Daily Value on the Nutrition and Supplement Facts Labels - FDA(US)". There may be some of our articles that are still sourced from other websites, but if they are still in accordance with the FDA we will not update them. However, if there are differences with the FDA or other things that conflict with research from certain official institutions, please report us to our email sweetyherbs@gmail.com and we will update or delete it.

Why do you still include herbal names...?

We don't think about S E O (Search Engine Optimization). People who hope to get herbs turn out there are no herbs on this website ( I'm Sorry for that).

For us, living healthy by consuming good fruits, vegetables, grains or tubers is better than consuming herbs whose effectiveness has not been confirmed academically.

Even though herbs are better and safer than medicines from doctors, at least the medicines in circulation have gone through a process of supervision from a special supervision agency, apart from that the use of medicines in all dosages or measurements is the same, which may differ in terms of age, body weight and specific diseases.

Is there perhaps an article about Herbs...?

Yes, of course there are, but with careful consideration, we will provide articles regarding certain herbs which are used as food flavorings or which do not have very significant effects. But for herbs that are specific for certain diseases or certain health conditions, we have to search more deeply from credible and trusted health articles such as health service websites or academic websites.

Not a Health Reference

We are not doctors or nutritionists, do not use this blog as a guide or reference for providing information or doing something either to yourself or others for certain purposes such as dieting, curing disease and so on. Use sources that are trusted, credible and have high authority in the field of health and nutrition.

This blog is just an article from several sources that we got from the internet. Therefore, always consult with an expert you trust before doing anything from this article, starting to consume, extract or experiment.

Thank you for reading. Sorry if this article is a little poor in grammar.
